Archives

The "archives" are excerpts from textile projects and research carried out between 2014 and 2017.
They explore pleating, curved lines, undulations, as well as dyeing techniques, painting, and prints made of water and rock-inspired patterns.
Gradually, I discovered that by working with water and pigments, it was possible to create effects of relief, volume, and depth within the fabric. I also discovered that these effects were reproductible - not identically of course, but that with practice it was possible to recreate what I would call the writing of a movement.
This passion has never left me and has become the guiding thread to my practice. To 'write water', to capture a fixed image of what is inherently unstable, to seize the movement of what is constantly flowing, stretching, and transforming within the weave of fabric - as if to bring it to life.
