Exhibition Galerie Méduse Toujours
In Auvers-sur-Oise, from June 27 to July 13, 2025. Exhibition of 15 painted silk works, alongside Emma Andrée (illustration) and Antonin Mathé (object design).
In my work, I primarily explore patterns that represent energy in motion. I observe, I dream, and I draw forms that inhabit me and speak to me. I paint them onto fabric, mainly silk.I love painting water, the harmony of plant forms unfolding, the dance of atoms in space, everything that stretches itself into becoming something else, that takes shape and unravels. It is the language of impulse, of emergence, of poetry. These are forms that want to come into being, to grow, to expand.
They move through bodies as they move through landscapes, shaping matter in a shared language. Pigment writes, water disperses. In the alliance of the two, a dance takes shape.
This exhibition brings together works made using a range of techniques — brushes, airbrush, wax resist, iron powder, gilding — on silks of varying degrees of transparency. Some works are presented in double layers, revealing a shift in the pattern — like an image caught in motion, suspended within the fabric. This process allows the paintings to rest in space as tangible objects and be traversed by light.
